being able to tell people you’d love to go and hang out with them but you can’t because you’ve just discovered Mahler’s 9th symphony and you’re stricken on your couch and you really need to just spend a few evenings with this piece of music, you know?
they should make that an rsvp option on facebook event invites; ‘i’m going’, ‘maybe’, ‘decline’, ‘i’d go but i really have been gripped by this song and cannot seem to get out of my chair’
